Re-rack your weights after you're through. This includes dumbbells and unloading plates from barbells, machines, etc. Not re-racking your weights is not only an inconvenience to others... it can also result in injuries. Don't forget that lifting a 45-pound plate isn't easy for everyone!

Fitness Myth |

One of the biggest myths in fitness is that muscle can turn into fat without exercise. The truth is, these are two completely different tissues and one can't magically become the other. So what's really happening? Muscle shrinks when not stimulated so they may seem softer. Compounding the problem, most people don't reduce their calorie intake to match their lower energy needs. The result is less muscle mass and extra calories being stored as fat... a shift in your body composition.
